  1. 1

    Sketch & measure your property

Draw a rough layout of each floor and write your room measurements on it. Graph paper or a phone note is fine — it just needs to be readable.

  2. 2

    Upload your sketch & notes

Create an order on the Sketchplan app and upload a photo or scan of your sketch along with your measurements.

  3. 3

    We redraw it professionally

Our team converts your sketch into a clean, scaled, CAD-style floor plan with rooms, dimensions, doors, windows and labels.

  4. 4

Receive a clean digital floor plan

Download your finished plan, ready for listings, lettings, planning or marketing. Sensible revisions are included.

Good to know

What makes a great sketch

  • Measure every wall. Record each wall length in metres. Opposing walls should add up — this is the simplest way to catch a mistake.
  • Mark doors and windows. Note roughly where they are and how wide. A short note like "window 1.2m" is enough.
  • Show the whole layout. Sketch each floor and how the rooms connect, including the staircase and any built-in cupboards.
  • Keep it readable. It does not need to be neat or to scale — we just need to be able to read your measurements clearly.
